Inquiring Minds Want to Know: Cut and Run

Okay, I am not surprised that a majority of Iraqis want us the H*ll out of their country. But isn’t it surprising that the opposition to our presence is actually higher among Sunnis (91%) than among Shiites (74%)? Aren’t the Shiites the lot set to succeed us as residuary beneficiaries of the late uproar? If so, isn’t it they who should be slavering for our withdrawal, and the Sunnis begging us to stay?
