Endowment Datapoints

Yale University last year reported a decline in its endowment of $5.9 billion.

Smith College reported that it suffered a decline of $234 million in about the same period. Smith is scratching for a way to cut $30 million out of the annual budget.

Meanwhile Hampshire College up the road is said to have had endowment (before the bust) of $45.6 million total.

And the endowment of Antioch College was listed at $36 million, back around the time of its closing in 2007. That money remains, I suppose, in limbo.
