Pirates

Joel asks: who are the pirates' lawyers? Good question. I see that they get court-appointed counsel when facing criminal charges in France, but I suspect Joel envisions something more expansive than that. Who, for example, will represent them in establishing their offshore (sic) bank accounts, their blind trusts? Who will negotiate their book deals, their appearances on Larry King? When will University of Edinburgh (say) broaden its International Law of the Sea program with a piracy concentration?

And why stop at lawyers? Don't these guys need booking agents, personal trainers, private bankers, and (most of all, I suppose) publicists? Publicist for the pirates. No, strike that, I mean the Seafarer-Adventurers.
