Sarah and the Gasman

John points out one more reason why Sarah got lucky by pulling out of the Alaska governorship: natural gas. The details seem a bit murky but it's pretty clear that we just aren't as desperate for gas as we were a year ago and a place like Alaska that was trying to leverage the resource value will be having a much tougher time of things. John also fantasizes speculates that there might be gas under parts of Western Europe which certainly would take some fun out of all those parties at the Kremlin.
