My Phrase of the Day: "Plenty of Blame to Go Around"

My friend Michael blows a gasket:
You know, when I hear the expression "Plenty of blame to go around," I reach for my revolver. It allows the speaker to take an Olympian view of the situation and give the impression of being tremendously wise.
Copy that. It's a riff on the old socialist principle that "everybody's property is nobody's property"--so nobody picks up the garbage in the park. Michael adds:
I prefer the jury system under the rule of comparative liability. You get 20 per cent of the blame, you get 50 per cent of the blame, and you get 30 per cent, basta.
Or, as Goering said, when someone says "revolver," I reach for my culture. No, I have no idea what that means either.
