Today's Phrase: Farmisht, Farshimmelt and Farblonjet

Putting on my game face this morning, I found myself humming the tune of the old favorite "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered," except what I seemed come up with was the version that went "Farmisht, Farshimnmelt and Farblonjet," the rendition of a long-ago girlfriend who had more than a touch of Bette Midler about her, and believe me I mean that in a very nice way.

To my stunned surprise, this should-be staple of Second Avenue and the Borscht Belt seems nowhere memorialized in Google.

Well, it is now.

[Listening advice: Ella Fitzgerald good; Barbara Streisand nononononono/]

OK, hilarious, but what do all 3 words MEAN? I emailed the Yiddish Glossary because they had no definition of farblonjet - would you believe?
