Tragically, the head of the suburban commuter rail in Chicago (Metra) killed himself by stepping in front of a train this morning just as he was about to face a criminal investigation. Right now, the picture on the front page of the Chicago Tribune web site about the story – and I’m not making this up – is a crew power washing the street where the suicide occurred.
