I see that Duncan Hunter thinks that Federal spending on bike paths is unconstitutional because people go biking for pleasure. He might be onto something: our national ancestors were notoriously anti-pleasure. But Zaid Jilani points out that many people ride bikes to work. He might have added that some people drive their cars for something other than dreary work. Looks like we're going to need a lost more cops out there on the Interstate to make sure no one is using their Federal tax dollars to have fun.
