Mr. and Mrs.Buce do not often read the identical stuff but sometimes we operate in parallel. Case in point: just now she is awash in Hilary Mantel's paired novels set in the time of Henry VIII (link, link). Meanwhile I just finished David Teems' biography of William Tyndale. We agree on at least two things: one, Tyndale is way, way underappreciated, and two, Thomas More really enjoyed sending people out for torture.
