Young man, wrangling wiggly infant at the Metropolitan Museum:
--She always gets excited when she sees men in loinclothes.
Proper adult female bystander:
--Happens to me too.

Heh, I take your point. He spoke with a British accent so it might have been hard to tell. But "loincloths," sounds funny too, doesn't it? Or could it be we just aren't in the habit of talking about "loincloths," in the plural?

Or could it be that "loin" is the true subject here and "cloth" just a modifier, so it should be "loins cloth," on the order of "attorneys general?"
