Paphos

Today it's Paphos, birthplace of Aphrodite whose name rhymes too easily with "nighty," which is better than Venus whose name rhymes too easily with--well, and also home to a child of Pygmalion. And they say Saul of Tarsus touched down here long enough to contend with a magus with the arresting name of "Bar Jesus," said to be "far removed from the straight paths."
