Cold, Blue Screen of Death Updated

I think I'm going to start a new website called "U-verseSux." Total calls to ATT: four. Total time on line (hrs): six. Proposed solutions: several, including "try again in a couple of hours." Total time watching the screen below: I hate to think.

The problem is most likely the damn poor maintenance on the ATT copper. We have problems at Donner Lake like that. At Donner it is somewhat reasonable because of the winter weather. I don't think Palookaville has that kind of weather.

Steve here. I seem to remember you saying that you had no problems with the filters on the old DSL service. You also mentioned that you swapped the filters when you went to Uverse.

It's a long shot, but possibly one of the new filters is defective. Try putting the old ones back, if you still have them.

We are still using our old filters with Uverse. ATT sent new filters but we never installed them.

There are still DSL providers who require filters be used??

(I'm serious; I have several old filters sitting in a bin somewhere; planning on showing them to future grandchildren, along with the 8-track tapes and the rotary dials.)
