Somebody tell me whether TigerHawk is kidding here:
I really find it hard to believe that Dick Cheney would be less popular than Burr or Agnew if we educated our citizenry well enough for them to know who Burr and Agnew were.
At the risk of taking a joke seriously: he might have a point with Burr (after all, Cheney only wounded his victim). But Agnew was just a jerk. In the Darth Vader Sweepstakes, he wouldn't even make honorable mention. So, advantage Cheney.
